Science As A Way of Knowing (SAAWOK)
"Science As A Way Of Knowing" (SAAWOK) was a seven year project for undergraduate biology by Dr. John A. Moore, Professor emeritus, University of California, Riverside, with the Society of Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) (then called American Society of Zoogists (ASZ). This project focussed on yearly symposia that were published during the 1980ies in the American Zoologist. These materials are still used in countless undergraduate biology courses at colleges and universities. SICB's Digital Library makes them available here for educators free of charge.Click on title to view article in PDF format.
